Remix OS works good with WiFi and wired internet drivers. But still there are many cases when a user can not use his wired internet connection in Remix OS and WiFi connection due to a problem in Remix OS with his WiFi driver. Some users also do not have an internet connection for their PCs. Some users have desktop computers without a WiFi adapter and they use USB tethering from their mobile phones to PC (which is still not supported in Remix OS). In such cases the method I am going to describe below may prove useful in installing Android apps in Remix OS without internet connection on it. 1. First install an app "Apk Extractor" from Google Play Store in your android phone . 2. Then install that app in your phone which you want to use in Remix OS. 3. When you install Remix OS, there is a default wallpaper present. If you check out the gallery, no other wallpapers appear. But Remix OS has some built in wallpapers too. In this post I am going to tell you the location of those wallpapers. Those wallpapers are located at two places so this tutorial is divided into two parts. In each part we will access each place. PART 1: 1. Download and install the wallpapers app. 2. Open the app and open the On-device wallpapers folder. 3. In this folder some of the built in wallpapers will be displayed. In this post I am going to tell you the method to enable support for third party launchers in Remix OS. After following this method, you will be able to use any launcher in Remix OS. 1. First install a launcher in Remix OS. I have installed TSF launcher . You can install any you like. Launcher can be installed from play store or from the apk of the launcher. 2. In Remix OS, Open settings. 3. Open Experimental features 4. Turn on the option Enable debug terminal console 5.
